Dot by dot. Never whip shaded.

Big Dave does not fake dotwork with a gradient. Plenty of artists drop the voltage, whip shade a section and call it dotwork. He tried that and threw it out, because it reads as shading. This is the long way, done properly: designing the mandala on an iPad, the trick that makes one mandala look like it has more layers underneath, a stencil you get for free while you draw, then dot by dot on skin at 8 volts, with the empty skin left doing half the work.

What's inside the course

The exact process, broken down step by step. No theory without application, only what works on skin.

The mandala, from the centre out

Drawn live in Amaziograph. Eight layers, black background, white lines, and what to do when it starts looking too round.

The layers illusion

A grey pass over the white lines, then erase the excess. One mandala that reads like it has more sitting underneath it.

A stencil for free

Draw at brush size 4 and the stencil is already done. Thicker lines hide your dots and you cannot tell if one landed.

Dot by dot, not whip shaded

Drop the voltage and whip it and you get shading, not dotwork. He learned that the long way. 8 volts, one dot at a time.

The empty skin does half the work

Overfill a section and it heals faded and flat. Knowing where to stop is the whole craft.

Why a 5.0 stroke

A longer, harder hit lands a dot that is still sharp once it heals. A low stroke buries it smooth, and that is not the finish he wants.

What artists say

No fluff, just real technique you can apply immediately.

I knew I had made the right choice already, just 10 minutes into the course! Thank you, it was a huge inspiration boost. Can't wait to apply all the great advice.

What sold me is how straight to the point everything is. No filler, no forty-minute intros, just the technique and the reasoning behind it. I was applying things in my studio the same week.
Tiago Salgado@tiagosalgado.tattooer
Buy it once and it is yours for good. I go back to the same lessons every few weeks and still catch details I missed the first time. That alone pays for it.
Diogo Pereira@diogo_tattooartist
These guys actually open the playbook. Most artists hide what took them years to learn. InkMentors does the opposite, and it shows in how fast you start improving.
Ian Fleming@inkbyianfleming
I watch on my phone between clients and on the iPad at home, same login, everything synced. Being able to learn on my own schedule changed how much I actually get through.
Chris Myers@chrisraymyerstats
No theory for the sake of it. Everything is what actually works on skin, and you can tell it comes from real experience. My healed work looks cleaner than it ever did.
Kiko Gaspar@kiko_tattooartist
Honestly the best money I have put into my craft. Clear, practical, and full of things I would never have figured out on my own. I recommend it to anyone serious about leveling up.

Still deciding?

The answers to what most artists ask before they buy.

Credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Klarna in some countries if you would rather split it. Just check what is available where you live, since it varies a bit.

Of course! Tap the button below and chat with our team directly on WhatsApp, real answers, no bots.

Basically, it means respecting your time. 🧘🏼

Our goal is to build an army of elite artists, so we do not fill the course with hours of filler, long stories, or slow talk just to pad the runtime and say "look, 5 hours of content!"

If you have watched our courses before, you already noticed there is no "umm" or "ahh." Every time we wipe ink off the tattoo, we cut that part out, so you only see what actually matters to learn.

We also assume you already know how to wipe ink and apply butter, so we skip spending course time on that too.

That is it: respect for your time, without cutting corners on the knowledge.

Yes! Grab the Teachable app, it is on both the Google Play Store and the App Store.

Log in with the same email you used to buy the course, and you can watch on your phone or iPad, anywhere, whenever you want.
